The Brief
MCCTC sits on a sprawling Canfield campus with a long roster of career and technical programs — STEM, engineering labs, adult education, and trade tracks. The school wanted a coordinated identity rollout that started at the main entrance and worked its way through the cafeteria, hallways, and program areas — without ever closing the building down.
The Challenge
The substrates change as you walk through the building — exterior brick, interior glass, painted block, drywall, finished hallway corridors. The signage system had to work on every one without losing the through-line, and every install had to drop into a school day that didn't pause for it.
- 01Survey
Whole-building walkthroughs — main entrance, cafeteria, STEM, program corridors — to scope every surface and substrate.
- 02Produce
Vinyl, etched glass, dimensional letters, and standoff acrylic — all fabricated and prepped at our Boardman shop.
- 03Install
Phased landings around the academic calendar, with most exterior brick work happening over breaks and interior pieces installed before first bell.

Identity that reads from the parking lot to the back hallway.
